Integration of Payment Provider in SAP Business ByDesign – Adyen, Paypal, Wirecard ect.

More and more companies are using payment service providers such as Adyen, Paypal or Wirecard for processing online shops, cash registers or credit card transactions.

The challenge is to get these service providers or their transactions into the SAP Business ByDesign system and then automatically settle them with e.g. customer invoices.

Integration can take place with the help of middleware.

The procedure would be as follows:

• The middleware accesses an XML file from the payment service provider at a defined time interval.
• The requested file is then converted into the bank statement format MT940 required by SAP using a matching table.
• The file is loaded into the SAP Business ByDesign system as a bank statement.
• Matching takes place using an external reference. This reference is entered in the sales order in SAP and forwarded to the billing document. It is also entered in the individual transactions for payment service providers. A rule stored in the bank statement tool then matches transactions with identical external references to each other.
